Fiorella’s Story

Fiorella Dicarlo, RD, CDN was born in Naples, Italy, and at the age of 3 years old moved to the United States. Her family roots in the Campania region of Italy were influential in her childhood and adolescence, and have had a profound impact on her adult life and career. She often visits her family in Naples, Italy, and feels most at home on the gorgeous, romantic Amalfi Coast. Some of her most precious memories are when she would jar tomatoes with her grandmother, mother, and four sisters every September from their fresh vegetable garden. Fiorella grew up loving everything Italian including film, art, dance, fashion, and of course food! She developed her Italian aesthetic from Italian films of the 60s and 70s. You can see her love of fashion and capturing Italian beauty through photographs and videos. She enjoys evoking the feeling for others of what it means to be Living in Italian.

After a brief stint in the fashion industry, Fiorella pursued and graduated with an RD (Registered Dietitian). Fiorella also holds a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition and Food Science, as well as two post-graduate degrees in the treatment of eating disorders from the Women's Therapy Centre Institute and the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis, & Psychology. She has a thriving private practice specializing in Eating Disorders, Prenatal and Fertility Nutrition, Weight Management, Medical Nutrition Therapy, and Family Nutrition.

Fiorella continues to find excitement and passion through sharing her love of an Italian-inspired lifestyle on FiorellaEatsTV, her healthy Italian-inspired Food channel. She enjoys collaborating with other creators, Italian-inspired brands, and media channels to spread knowledge and awareness on the benefits of a Medditerainian diet and Living in Italian!
